God wired us for story. All of us came to know God through a story. Maybe it was a Bible story, or a Christian testimony shared by our parents or grandparents, or the pastor at our church growing up.
As Christians, we came to know Jesus through the stories in the Bible.
As our faith grew, we may have attended a Bible study, read Christian books, or listened to faith-based podcasts or radio programs. Almost all of them, I’m guessing, shared a story in one form or another.
God wants us to share our story. The Bible couldn’t be clearer! Yet many Christians get stuck. They don’t know how to write their testimony.
Some Christian writers start worrying about whether their story is “good enough.”
Thankfully, writing and storytelling is a skill you can learn.
As you practice, your confidence will grow.
It also helps to identify your natural storytelling abilities.
That’s why I developed the “Quiz: What’s your Storytelling Style?”
